The" Skaklia" waterfall is located in the Iskar Gorge near the "Bov" station. This is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in Bulgaria. It was a favorite place for rest for one of the most eminent and renowned Bulgarian writers, Ivan Vazov.

The "Skaklia" Falls drop 80 meters.  An eco-trail with places for picnic and relaxation has been built around the waterfall. The trail itself is two-ended. The lower end is near the Bov train station – there is a sign marking the eco-trail on the main road.

The upper end can be reached by hitting the turn-off for "Zasele" village and after 15 minutes driving up a steep road you will reach the center of the village, where a  marking plate is present.
