“Karlovsko praskalo” is a waterfall in the central Stara Planina , on the “Stara Reka “River. It is located about 1450 m altitude at the southern foothills of Mount Jaltets, 10 minutes from the "Vasil Levski" hut. The height of the water drop is over 30 meters. The waterfall and the surrounding area were declared a natural monument in 1965. It is within the National park "Central Balkan".

The waterfall is near the “Vasil Levski” hut. You can get there taking the path which turns left from the road to the town of Karlovo. Cross the river and go left. Another 15 minutes and you will reach it.
